Our Mission

Rickie Keys, Ph.D., MPH

Dr. Rickie C. Keys is a Senior Fellow in Health & Social Policy for the Center for African American Policy at the University of Denver.  In the last ten years, he has addressed health and social issues affecting communities of color through strategic planning, program development, group facilitation, community needs assessments and marketing. His strengths are best utilized in projects that are collaborative, holistic, emphasize community and familial assets, and foster self-determination. More recently Dr. Keys has lead in the development and management of collaborative initiatives in different strategic settings.

Dr. Keys is founder and executive director for the National Institute to Combat Health Disparities, a 501 (C)(3), non-profit health improvement organization that focuses on addressing racial, income and geographic health disparities. He is the owner of Medimorph, LLC, a business development, capacity building, advisory services and investment banking organization in the healthcare industry. Dr. Keys is also the founder of Continuum Health Network, LLC, which provides a continuum network of health services to the community, private and public health service organizations. Dr. Keys has worked in that capacity for approximately three years. Subsequently, he joined the staff at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic as Director of Business Development and Community Affairs.

In the past year, he has completed a variety of projects ranging from focus groups of women whose children receive mental health services from the State of Louisiana to advisory services for the Mayor of New Orleans on policy development and program evaluation, from conducting studies to identify health disparities throughout Louisiana to developing market-based intervention programs to improve the health and quality of life conditions in disparity communities.
