THE ASCENT POLICY JOURNAL
It is clear that the African American role in this brave, new globalized and digital world will continue to evolve as one of the most pressing questions of our time.
As a project of the Center for African American Policy at the University of Denver, the ASCENT Policy Journal represents a unique opportunity to advance Black discourse on that question, offering original and balanced insight on an ambitious range of political, social, economic and cultural issues.
Through the digital medium, we encourage the exchange of ideas on the direction of the African Diaspora in the 21st century. Therefore, the ASCENT Policy Journal is a quarterly exercise in prompting critical Black thought on our evolution as a community and our maturation as an influential voice in shaping public policy.
